One dispatch desk, every rig
TruckQuick is a truck dispatch service. We find loads for owner-operators and small fleets, negotiate the rates and handle the broker side. You stay in charge of your truck and your authority.
Why we started
Too many owner-operators were getting dispatched like a number on a list. Loads booked without asking. Rate cons signed by someone else. Offers that didn't fit the truck: too heavy for a non-CDL hotshot, too long for the deck, a pallet count that would never fit the box. And fees that only showed up after the first settlement.
We built the desk the other way around. The first call is about your truck, not about where you want to go: the equipment, the ratings, the deck or box length, the CDL class, your gear and your lanes. Then we search. When we find a load that fits, we bring it to you with everything you need to decide, and you say yes or no.
Why one desk for every rig
We dispatch 26 ft box trucks, hotshots with and without a CDL, dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, step decks, power only, car haulers, dump trucks, oversize and hazmat or tanker loads. No equipment is a side job. The rules change from rig to rig: payload for a hotshot, pallet count and liftgate for a box truck, temperature for a reefer, securement for a flatbed, permits for oversize. The standard doesn't change. Every load is checked against your numbers, every broker is checked before you see the offer, and every rate is negotiated.
A desk that sees every kind of freight also sees more ways to fill your week. A reload for a step deck can come from flatbed brokers. A power only driver can pick up preloaded trailers that van carriers pass on.
How the desk runs
Dispatchers are available nights and weekends, because freight doesn't stop on Friday, and the notes on your truck and preferences go with your file so whoever picks up knows your rig. We send carrier packets, make the broker calls and check calls, confirm deliveries and send you a weekly report of every load, its rate, its miles and the fee. See how we dispatch for the full process.
Who writes our guides
Our guides, calculators and dictionary are written by Gustavo. Every number on them has a source and a date, or is labeled as an example. Our editorial policy explains how we check facts and fix mistakes.
What we won't do
Forced dispatch
Every load is an offer. You can pass on any of them, any time, with no penalty.
Signing rate cons for you
The broker sends the rate confirmation straight to you. You read it and sign it yourself.
Hidden fees
One published percentage of gross on loads you haul. No setup fee, no admin fee, no minimums.
Long contracts
Month to month. Cancel with 30 days notice.
Booking over your weight
We check every load against your ratings and payload before it reaches you.
Small box trucks
We dispatch box trucks of 26 ft or longer only.
No cargo vans or sprinters
We don't dispatch cargo vans or sprinter vans of any size.
Talk to the desk
Questions before you apply? send a message on the contact page, or read the FAQ. If you're ready, the application takes about two minutes, and a dispatcher calls you back to go over your truck.
